It has been my own experience of fertility challenges that brought me to the beautiful and deeply nourishing practices of Yoga.
Having seen how powerful Yoga can be in restoring fertility, I have designed The Fertility Reset Programme to offer you all of the things I wish I had at the very start of my journey.
This course will not only greatly improve your fertility, chances of conceiving naturally and go on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, but it will help you make the transition to motherhood from a position of strength and increased resilience.
If our lives are stressful and we always feel under pressure, not having any time to really connect with ourselves, it can have a detrimental effect on our fertility.
I want to change all that for you by showing you how you can feel empowered with these practices, know that you’re doing all the right things and then be able to carry on with life outside the baby making aspects with confidence and joy!

The Fertility Reset Programme is for you if…
You’re currently trying to conceive and you want to connect with and enjoy the process, while doing all the things to support your chances of conception.
You have been trying to get pregnant for a while now and it doesn’t seem to be happening and you’re not sure why.
You have been given a medical diagnosis that may affect your chances of conception and you want to do everything you can to support your fertility.
You are preparing for or currently undergoing ART or IVF and you want to increase your chances of success and support your own mental health and wellbeing while going through the process.
You have recently experienced a miscarriage or are trying again after a miscarriage and need extra support to heal and try again.

1 Live 60 minute Yoga class via Zoom every week.
The difference in Yoga for Fertility to any other yoga class is Yoga for Fertility is designed to support your reproductive system and align with your menstrual cycle.
There are specific postures that support your reproductive system in pre-ovulation, ovulation, post ovulation and menstruation.
Each week we will alternate between a pre-ovulation appropriate class and a post- ovulation appropriate class.
The recording of the live classes will be available through the course portal so you can dip in and out of the recorded classes whenever you feel like it.
I recommend coming to all the live classes which will be at 6:30pm every Thursday evening starting the 11 January 2024.

Learning how to plan, cook and eat a healthy, balanced diet is one of the most important things you can do for your fertility, supporting a healthy pregnancy (for both you and baby) and having a healthy fourth trimester in postpartum.
You would be surprised how much nutrients we actually need to balance our hormones and support a healthy pregnancy.
Our busy lifestyles and the emphasis put on life outside the home has eroded our ability to nourish ourselves properly. One of the most important life skills you can learn or “re-learn” is how to prioritise healthy, balanced, hormone supporting meals.
I have created a suite of fertility supporting meals in an easy to use, downloadable and printable cookbook with accompanying meal plans and shopping lists to take the guess work out of how to organise yourself to eat well for healthy fertility.
I have also created follow along batch cooking tutorials based on the meal plans I have suggested so you can easily prepare a week of healthy meals without hassle or overwhelm.
You will work your way through 3 cookbooks each month to hone this skill of preparing and cooking with an abundance of fertility supporting foods without feeling completely overwhelmed with choices, complicated recipes or expensive ingredients. I have created these recipes with the busy woman in mind (I am one myself!) and I promise over the course of these 12 weeks you will start to love being in the kitchen and you will notice how amazing you feel by increasing your intake of valuable nutrients.

One of the greatest lessons I have learned in my studies of practises for female health and wellbeing is the difference between masculine and feminine energy and how these two manifest in our daily lives.
We are living in a world designed by men, for the male experience of life and this is vastly different landscape than that of the female experience.
I have created this “Fertility Fundamentals 101” micro course as an education in how to better understand the female experience, particularly the transition into motherhood in the context of your environment.
This includes:
Masculine energy and feminine energy; What these are and how to find balance between them
An introduction into hormones, what aggravates them and how to create internal hormone harmony
Stress, how to manage it and how to manage your mindset when it comes to stress
And finally how to create a more fertility friendly lifestyle
Each topic will have a short video explaining the key points you need to know and helpful strategise to integrate these Fertility Fundamentals into daily life.

Bottling up our emotions is never a good thing. But I have found from own experience and from my clients, fertility struggles can be riddled in shame and guilt and are not always easy to articulate. Maybe because we don’t know how or maybe because we don’t feel there is a safe space to do so.
This is your safe space.
This will be another connection via zoom. We will start with some restorative yoga, followed by a guided yoga nidra designed for emotional release, followed by some optional journaling time or if you feel compelled we will open up the call to share (this is totally and utterly optional and no body is obliged to share or speak or have their cameras on during this call)>

Learning to move with your physical and energetic cycles is integral to healthy fertility.
Learning to nourish yourself with the proper types of food and appropriate quantities of nutrients is essential for healthy hormones.
But what we often overlook when we start to address our health, is understanding ourselves as women in the context of the modern world we live in. You can make all of the lifestyle changes under the sun (or moon ;-)) but if you’re still operating within the parameters of a world made by men for men without an understanding of why that doesn’t always translate as a healthy environment for the female experience - particularly as you embark on the journey into motherhood - you can still feel like you’re a round peg trying to fit in a square hole.
With over 10 years of professional experience working with women, coupled with my own personal experience of fertility challenges I have a very strong belief that in order to thrive as a woman who desires to become a mother, we need to learn how to be more vulnerable, tell the people who love and support us what we need and learn how to prioritise our own health and wellbeing if we are to really embody and become the women we want to be i.e happy, fulfilled, seen, heard and understood.
We all have our own unique set of circumstances that have brought us to this point in our journey. While the programme I have created will be universally helpful for all women, I want to be sure that you feel deeply supported so we will be scheduling in one to one consultations where we can discuss any specific issues that you might be dealing with, whether that is physically, mentally or emotionally. Alex Carey
Having run my own yoga and health coaching practice, Carey Yoga + Nutrition, for 7 years it was my personal journey through motherhood, and struggling to bring my second child into the world, that inspired me to delve deeper into the world of women’s health through the lens of Yoga, Nutrition, Ayurveda and Hormone health.
Having first-hand experience of how not all yoga and nutrition trends are designed to support a woman in her journey through fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, I sought out the practises that recognised the cyclical nature of the female body and worked with it rather than against it.
It was the burning desire to restore my own natural fertility that I was led to these inherently feminine iterations of Yoga and nutrition, which ultimately helped me finally have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby girl.
Now a huge advocate for women’s health, mothers and a passionate yogini, I bring my personal experiences, empathy, knowledge and expertise to the important work of helping women reset their fertility, feel healthy, fulfilled and learn how to mother themselves, before they become mothers.

I couldn’t ask for a better scenario! I will give you a full refund, no questions asked.

This is my dream outcome for you! If you get pregnant during the first 2 weeks of the programme and would like to discontinue that’s absolutely fine. I will give you a 75% refund on fees paid up until that point. If you get pregnant between 2 weeks and 6 weeks and would like to discontinue, I will refund you 50% of fees paid to date. No refunds will be available if you become pregnant after 6 weeks of joining the programme but this whole programme is absolutely safe and so beneficial for you while you’re pregnant so you can still enjoy the rest of the programme.

The short answer is yes. A fertility focused practice not only improves circulation in the pelvic region but it recognises the delicate situation a woman is in after ovulation when she is trying to conceive. There are a lot of poses in a regular yoga practice that aren’t ideal post ovulation. However, once you understand what a fertility practice looks like and which poses to avoid post ovulation, you can always go back to your regular class and modify it yourself depending on your needs.

Yes and it would be extremely beneficial for you during this process. As long as you have the go ahead from your medical team to do gentle exercise, the classes for post ovulation and the restorative classes will be ideal to calm the mind while you’re in this delicate season.

First let me say how sorry I am. I had 5 miscarriages before I had my second baby and I know how difficult it can be. And yes, The Fertility Reset course is perfect for while you’re healing (as long as your doctor has given you the go ahead to begin gentle exercise) and if you’re preparing to try and again in the future.
